The absolutely vital Fallout 4 mod: “Old World Radio – Boston.”

Found here. It’s huge, but it’s worth it: the ‘Old World Radio – Boston’ mod adds a lot more music, both to Diamond City Radio and  whole bunch of other radio stations to tune into.  A variety of genres, ranging from bluegrass to kind of silly – but possibly the best part are the science fiction and horror radio programs. This is the mod that got me listening to X Minus One, and it is ABSOLUTELY VITAL that you listen to a few episodes of that show before you die.  Unless, of course, you don’t like vintage Robert Heinlein or something.

  1. I’m geeking out on X Minus One thanks to your reco a few weeks ago – they’re all a tight 25 minutes or so, which is perfect for my commute in the afternoons (I haven’t been able to stand Hannity for years). But…they screwed up the podcast version of Green Hills of Earth – it’s a copy of Perigi’s Wonderful Dolls. I was a bit disappointed. But I can copy the mp3 directly to a thumb drive so all’s good with the world.

It’s a radio version of The Twilight Zone. It’s at least as fearless in not having the Happy Ending close every story, and the subject matter is often quite mature for what was considered pulpy fantasy for kids.

        1. No, I screwed up. The direct download mp3 is the right one. Huh.
          .
I have no idea how I messed that up.

        2. GHOE is the best of whatever *anyone* could do, except for RAH himself. And he did do better.

  2. Unfortunately this mod is broken for me. I can’t get it to install correctly with Nexus Mod manager, did anybody here do anything special to get it to work?
