It’s in DC, and my wife suggested that I go to it at least one day so as to get out of the house and go do something fandom-related. Anybody go to Awesome Con regularly? Is it fun? Just as importantly, is it relaxed? I’m trying to avoid grinding my teeth these days.

Nope, DC’s a bit too far away for me. I am going to the Southern Fried Gameroom Expo the weekend after here in Atlanta, though. Over 100 pinball machines and over 100 videogames (most from the 1980s) on free play all weekend. Yep, I’m going to be playing pinball until my hands are sore. Among the highlights is going to be the premiere of the new Ghostbusters pinball machine– based on the opriginal movie, not the new one, with Ernie Hudson doing the narration.
Can you tell much about a con from its’ guest list?

naw. origins is 20 minutes away and half of that is parking. 🙂
