Just signed up for Washingcon: September 10th and 11th, Georgetown University Hotel. It’s a tabletop gaming convention in its second year, which means, ah, excitement? Yes, ‘excitement’ is such a nice, neutral word. Anyway, there’s a RPG track, so I’ve asked them if there’s some sort of signup process to run a game there. I’ll keep you posted.

Have a similar convention here in west MI, Grand-con. Mostly board games with some rooms set aside for RPGs. Tends to be a lot of open gaming with only a small dealer hall. Fun if your goal is to just play, very different than the spectacle of a Gencon type convention
I could stand to do a little ‘just playing’ for an afternoon. With an adult beverage or two if I get a room. 🙂
