OK, I admit it: I have incredible difficulty with taking a game like Watch Dogs 2 seriously. Yeah, I found that weird to type out. And yet, it remains true.
The entire thing just looks… silly. Like they want to do an urban fantasy game, but don’t quite have the nerve to. I’d play an out-and-out urban fantasy game, too.
the new Deux Ex looks more interesting than Watch Dogs 2, at least to my eyes.
Certainly seems like they are trying very hard at… something. I cannot figure out what since it does not seem to be story.

And am I the only one that the spazy, music video thing does not really constitute a selling point?
Apparently, the original Watch Dogs game went gold with a lot of known bugs and has issues that were never fully resolved before they released the 2nd. So, if it seems like it is missing certain elements from the story line its because its just missing elements in general. One of those games that a studio has a set development budget for and then once reached it’s pushed out the door whether it’s ready or not. It’s got some people so upset there is a Reddit post pleading with people to not pre-order the game till.
