    Expanding on the point about women: Don’t assume you know who your clientele is or what their other hobbies and interests might be. I went over to the home of one of my biker buddies the other night, a guy in his late 40’s who works in the automotive service industry; I was kind of surprised to see a large collection of D&D manuals. He lit up like a Christmas tree when I mentioned it – turns out that his large arm tattoo (which I had assumed was just an anthropomorphic bull, designed after the Houston Texans mascot) is actually a minotaur, and his favorite D&D character.
