  1. By about the 300th time it pops up on rotation, you’ll be tired of it .. not a bad *song*, not the *song’s* fault.

The playlist for Fallout New Vegas felt … truncated? Like Mr. New Vegas (and a great bit of stunt-casting *that* was!) should’ve had more stacks of wax to spin than he actually *did* have, eh?

Perhaps they paid Wayne instead of royalties for another ten tracks?

    1. For “Big Iron” at least, I like the idea that the reason it gets played so often is because NCR Rangers keep calling in to request it.

      1. Yeah, that one made some amount of sense.. and isn’t annoying to slog along to.

p.s. I presume you’ve been outside the wire .. hopped the back fence at the airport .. gone walkabout ..

        1. I honestly can’t say that I have. I remember having to do something with noclip at McCarran, possibly because my savefile picked up a glitch where the game crashed when I went through the front door and kept me out of the main area, but I never explored outside the base and terminal much. The closest was when I exit after visiting Contreras to buy and sell stuff.

  2. It is a good song- and there are some good songs on the soundtracks. However, after (checks Steam for hours played on NV)… a while, they have a tendency to grate a bit.

    1. I played Fallout 3 (a.k.a. Fallout D.C.) more than I played Fallout New Vegas .. and other than getting a little tired that Three Dog would never turn over his Butcher Pete record and *play* part 2 I don’t recall getting as .. annoyed .. at the repeats.

Looking at it .. I *think* it’s because I didn’t *just* leave it on Galaxy News Radio .. and Vegas doesn’t have as many other stations playing *music*.

      1. New Vegas has two other radio stations; the problem with with them is they play the same music as each other, and a lot of their music is in turn the same as Radio New Vegas’s. On the plus side, one of those other stations is Black Mountain Radio. On the down side, it doesn’t cover the entire Mojave Wasteland.

There’s plenty of music, just no variety. In DC, you have GNR, Enclave Radio, and Agatha, while in Boston, you’ve got Diamond City Radio, the Classical radio station and eventually Radio Freedom, and they all play different music.

        1. Tabitha’s schtick is hilarious .. especially since it’s quite possible to not kill her .. haven’t found a good way to leave Moe** alive though.

I hadn’t noticed that they all crib each others’ music .. that’s exactly the problem, though.

    2. It’s all right, man. I logged over 2500 hours on Skyrim. Either you aren’t as bad, or you’re among people who understand.
