‘Life on the Infinite Farm.’ [DO NOT READ THIS IF YOU ARE QUEASY.]

Seriously, I don’t know if it’s the pictures or the Paint job, but ‘Life on the Infinite Farm‘ is just a little greasily disturbing.  It doesn’t go down the mental gullet quite right, and once it ends up in the stomach it doesn’t want to stay there properly.  I’m sincerely finding it just a bit alarming, in fact.

Weird.

  1. Eh, I’m a math nerd. It’s pretty cool, it’s pointing out at least 3 different properties of infinite sets. I think.

    1. I also don’t get what the big deal is myself. I expected some Lovecraftian mind-warping horror or non-Euclidean geometry, but sadly no. I had the exact opposite reaction that Moe did: Boredom.

      1. I have this suspicion that some of Moe’s revulsion – whether consciously or not – revolved around his kids seeing this in a classroom ..
        .
It does a decent enough job of explaining infinite sets with imagery kids will be familiar with – the cow, the crocodile, the mice – but ..

        It does have a .. vibe ..

        1. Actually, sorry, this is going to be a problem for me: I regularly put PDFs up on this site and I don’t want to clutter up my Twitter account with PDF warnings.
