Man goes on Reddit to complain about losing a “It’s the cat or me!” fight.

What follows is one of the most uniform displays of “So would I, dude” that I have ever seen on the Internet.  Goodness gracious, but it’s nice to know that there are still things that unite us.  Admittedly, I would have hoped that it’d have been something more weighty than “If you’ve been with a woman for three years, and you knew you disliked her cat all along, and you told her after you got engaged that the cat had to go or you did, don’t start crying when she picks the cat,” but I’ll take what I can get.

(Oops: forgot where I saw it, first.  Note that I will apparently rave now about Claritin at any excuse, or none.)

PS: I’ve mentioned this before, but: the 24-hour Claritin RediTabs are just straight up MAGIC PILLS, all right? Melts on your tongue, and the goram allergies just drift away on the breeze.  This stuff is why we can have a cat.

  1. FB link is privacy locked, or something.
    .
The man has committed one of the great historical blunders:
[You know of land wars in Asia and death-wagers against Sicilians] Straight men should never go whining to the internet for emotional support: The SJW hate you already, and the Bros will reflexively Taunt You A Second Time.

    1. What ever happened to getting with a buddy, pouring yourself a drink of something, and NOT TALKING ABOUT IT?

Did I miss a meeting again?

      1. No, you didn’t miss a meeting, not one you would have been interested in or welcome to attend, at any rate.

  2. What a tool.

I’m firmly in Camp Dog. I strongly prefer the number of cats in the house to be zero.
But trying to use emotional leverage to manipulate someone like that is petty and bitchy. It’s embarrassing when a woman stoops so low. For a guy to do so, is beyond pathetic.

      1. Aaaaand Luke wins the internet today (Still pretty early, but I’m confident nothing will top that…)

  3. The measure of a man is how he treats those lesser than himself, which also goes for pets and animals in general.

  4. I’m in Camp Dog. But either way, for either sex, going into a relationship expecting to change the other in particular ways is just a bad idea.
