Still trying to decide if I want to see Solace.
It’s kind of interesting, given the way that the power dynamic between the heroes and villain is set up. But can it be sustained? People usually want to see the good guys win, after all.
Mind you: Anthony Hopkins. So there’s that.
This sounds to me more like the old dramatic device of “defining the threat as credible” than defining it as impossible. It makes victory seem unlikely and that the heroes are really in danger.
