Case File ORIOLE EGGSHELL

On September 23rd of this year police responded to a report of shots fired at a motel in Biloxi, Mississippi.  At 9:30 AM two officers entered Room 34 of the Don’t Tell Motel (currently being rented by a ‘John Smith,’ who paid in cash) to discover a deceased human male with no identification and several holes in his head and chest.  The owner of the motel confirmed that this was not John Smith, who remains at large as of this date.

An investigation revealed the following:

  • A variety of men’s clothing, consisting of t-shirts, track suits, underwear and tube socks.  All of the clothing was brand new and had not yet been laundered.
  • A variety of new books on general American history from the period 1991 to the present.  Several of the books had extensive scrawling in the margin, in an alphabet that appears to be a variant of Korean (Mr. Smith and the dead male both have Caucasian features).
  • A new laptop, connected to the Internet via the motel wifi and with tabs open to all the major search engines.
  • A 40 MW power generator about the size and weight of a human fist.  It is, apparently, being fueled by a used tea bag.
  • One open box of tea bags.

The police canvass of the scene found one witness who reported that a man meeting Mr. Smith’s description fled the scene early Monday morning in what appeared to be a sports car.  A car matching that description was found abandoned thirty miles away.  No trace of Mr. Smith has been found since.

Please investigate.
