That moment when you realize…

…that the RPG supplement whose used-book price you’re looking at ruefully is actually a second edition of a previous supplement, under a different name. And that the picture on the cover looks awfully familiar. And then you go look on your shelves, and lo! There it is.

Yes. THAT moment. That f*cking moment.

[UPDATE] For clarity: I didn’t spend money on this. ┬áJust an hour and a half of frustrating shopping time.

Oh, yeah. I know that particular variation of the

“What the heck was I thinkin” moment.

I’ve gone and bought THREE different copies of the same supplement in more than one instance over time and I STILL don’t know how I did it.

And I stopped drinking 30 years ago, so I don’t even have that to fall back on.

Ouch. Fortunately, this is the *good* version. I hadn’t spent the money yet, but I did spend about an hour and a half trying to find a workable price, and failing…

Have you discovered the iTunes version of this?
“Buy song off ‘best of’ album”
        “forget that you bought song”
“Buy same song off original album”

I’ll just stick this here. There’s a timer counting down right now over on the “Plan Escape” website. Or it possibly might be “Planescape.” I’d suspect the latter since the D&D Twitter feed mentioned it.
