I was going to make some passive-aggressive jokes about the whole thing, but that’d be kind of mean of me. Particularly since I’m hardly one to judge. Besides, the episodes of My Little Pony that I have seen were pretty good. People get to like what they like.
The Friendship is Magic series is actually ok. Though I’ve been tagged as a Bronie when I’m going through the cash with the dvd’s. I now bring at least one daughter along to vouch for me!
They did a two part tv episode based on Animal Farm.
So dark that my seven year old cried.
Plus John de Lancie is channeling Q when he voices his Discord character.
There are some surprisingly adult themes in there, like the one they did in I think it was season 4, about enforced equality.
Moe confirmed Brony. ;P It’s a good show. The fan base is a little out there, but there are worse fandoms. MUCH worse.
Ah, and this one looks like it’s not going to be an Equestria Girls movie, either.

As kids shows go, it’s one of the better ones.
But the whole “brony” thing is just creepy.
Doesn’t really affect me either way, since my girls don’t care about the show.
I’m a bit of a brony – I watch and enjoy the show, I don’t interact with any of the fandom and I own almost no merchandise (okay, I have a couple of Equestria Girs action figures hanging on my wall). But, I am now kind of excited about this. I will only go see it if It has John Delancie as Discord in it. Otherwise I will wait until I can download it.
