So I’m putting together a movie list for the next few months.

So far, these are the definite ones:

  • Guardians of the Galaxy 2 (5/5)
  • King Arthur (5/12)
  • Wonder Woman (6/2)
  • The Mummy (6/9)
  • Spider-Man: Homecoming (7/7)
  • Dunkirk (7/21)
  • Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets (7/21)

There’s a bunch that I may see, if the reviews are good; but these are ones that I will be watching.  I’m probably not seeing the new Aliens flick, and I’ve been getting good results from avoiding the Transformers movies these days. The new Pirates of the Caribbean is one that I waffle on, depending on the time of day.  I mean, I’ve flip-flopped while writing this very paragraph.

Any other suggestions? I’m taking full advantage of a formal marriage pact where I am cleared for movie-going this year, so I can add to this list pretty freely. Although I suspect that I’m running out of flicks in my favorite genres…

  1. The only major release I don’t see on there is The Dark Tower, which is about a week after Valerian.
    .
In less likely candidates, there’s Baby Driver, which is Edgar “Shaun of the Dead” Frost’s new film. I’m not enthused by it, but some are. There’s also a CGI Resident Evil movie next month, which I find cheesier than the live action films, but they are “more faithful” to the games. There are also two Rifftrax Live presentations in the above time periods, but hey, that’s my obsession.
