As I said: Adam West was the Batman we needed, not the Batman we deserved. According to the EW article, it looks like it’s going to be a bit of a party, with special Bat-guests, in fine old classic Batman fashion. And that, my friends, is a fine idea — as any Irishman would tell you. It should be the objective of any human being to be the sort of person who rates a loud, boisterous, and trouble-making wake.
Besides, maybe it’ll complete an esoteric ritual and we’ll get a real Batman out of it. Lord knows we could use one.
