TL9/Fallout Watch: Radaway.

Got sent this via email (which also originally made the Fallout reference). If it’s true, it’s the business.  Of course, that’s a big if.

An injection being developed by the Israeli company Pluristem Therapeutics Inc. PSTI, +0.00% appears to help the body rebound from radiation injuries.

The therapy, like others Pluristem develops, uses cells from the placenta, or the organ that grows during pregnancy to support a baby’s development. (The cells are harvested after C-sections with the woman’s consent, Pluristem said, and then the company uses a process to dramatically expand the number of cells.)

Won’t prevent new radiation from radioactive dust and particles still in your system, but if you’ve had that stuff successfully purged this might help deal with the aftereffects.  The future keeps moving on on…
