It raises… questions.
Like, When did the fantasy races start showing up, anyway? It couldn’t have been centuries ago, or even multiple decades; the fashions are all still clearly human-derived and none of the Orcs apparently got the Shrek reference (movie made in 2001). Assuming that you could even make Shrek in that universe if there were fantasy races around; somebody would have pitched a fit over the stereotyping*. Gonna be interesting when this comes out on December 22nd.

*Then again, Dreamworks managed to gleefully libel Disney in that movie and get away with it, so maybe they could have made Shrek and not cared about what the Orcs thought about the ‘Ogres.’
