New ‘Star Wars: The Last Jedi’ footage drops.

I have to say: I’m not exactly questioning Luke’s apparent opinion that this Jedi/Sith thing is played out.  I’m struck, also, by the way you maybe can see how each of the original three main characters seem to reflect the way the people playing them think about Star Wars itself.  Carrie Fisher embraced her iconic status (Leia Organa is, after all, her most famous role); Harrison Ford – who went on to become an A-List actor – came back to make sure that Han Solo didn’t, ever. And Mark Hamill, as befits a man who carved out a second career as a beloved voice actor, is perhaps somewhat refreshingly objective about this movie series*.

Mind you, I’m going to be at the earliest possible morning showing.

*I should, of course, note here that Weird Al Yankovic turned out to be a prophet after all.

    1. “But Gator, what makes you say that?”
      .
Look at the ‘The Last Jedi’ poster. Where is Snoke, the main bad guy? Luke is there and his face has both bathed in blue and red light. Boom!

      1. You can probably find some in the landfill – I’m sure they haven’t changed much from the last time they were available.

  1. McRibs???

Oh, no. No. How do I resist THAT?

I’m exhausted just fighting off the Pumpkin Spice attacks, how am I going to resist the Hoku Fuso (Wonderful Food) of Micky D?

  2. Don’t forget that Weird Al accurately predicted the end of Episode Two in his song about Episode One.
