It’s catchy, and was played often enough in enough circumstances that nearly everyone above a certain age has memories attached to it.

But Mystery Men was one of the worst movies I’ve ever watched.
I’d even rank Mars Attacks higher (even though they both share similar problems of self-sabotage via tone and timing).

No shame in enjoying Smashmouth. I have a soft spot for SoCal bands that focused on the Fun, Sun and Surf sound.
Walking on the Sun is a fun song, too. I bought their first album back in the day, and observed perhaps Potty Mouth might be a better appellation for the band, but I can be kinda square that way.
