Kevin Bacon’s Tremors series not picked up by Syfy.

Well, that’s a shame.  I don’t know why Syfy decided not to pick up the Tremors series, after all.  Although I suppose that the correct answer might simply also be the obvious one: Syfy just sucks at making good science fiction-related decisions.  We can’t safely dismiss that possibility.  It could be what happened.

As to what happens now? I dunno, I’m not actually an expert on TV shows. They’ve got a pilot, so presumably Kevin Bacon could go to a streaming service and maybe make a deal. I think. It’d be nice if it was on Amazon or Netflix, because then I could watch it.

  1. “SyFy” has The Expanse, and nothing else.

It’s great, but they can’t leverage it into pushing eyeballs into anything else they offer because they don’t have anything else to offer.

    1. Is the boss still that woman from Oxygen who wanted to move away from doing science fiction on the science fiction channel?

  2. Okay, admittedly rather off topic .. would someone – anyone – explain “Legion” to me?

I’ve tried watching the FX series and .. found it impossible, but it’s on Season 2 so *someone*’s tuning in …
