Joerg Sprave makes Han Solo’s Blaster.

LET HIM SHOW YOU ITS FEATURES!

Joerg Sprave did a really, really good job on this one.  That’s a glow-stick shooting, rubber-band wooden gun work of goram art. I was so impressed I signed up for his Patreon, because YouTube probably won’t let him monetize the video, the lousy so-and-sos.

  1. I am not a gun guy, but does it make sense to have a scope on a pistol? A scope is something you put your eye up to, which seems like a profoundly awkward position to shoot a pistol.

    1. A scope is really a long-distance feature. Pistols are not really long-distance weapons, so it doesn’t really make sense, no.

      1. For aiming? Perhaps not.

For a smuggler to be very sure s/he has a telescopic viewing device handy? Ummm .. maybe?

Since, far as I recall, we never saw Han even once look through the thing, it might be that he just thought it was cool.
