The Unexpectedly Promising ‘The Man Who Killed Hitler and Then the Bigfoot’ Poster.

Wait, this is real?

Apparently so: “Fantasia Film Festival 2018 is just around the corner and today we’re happy to debut an exclusive hand-painted poster for one of the fabulously titled films making its world premiere at the festival: The Man Who Killed Hitler and Then the Bigfoot. Produced by John Sayles (Lone Star), the film stars Sam Elliott as the titular World War II veteran who secretly assassinated Hitler before being recruited by the FBI and The Royal Canadian Mounted Police to take out Bigfoot.”

Well, [expletive deleted], I’m in.  I figured that it was just going to be a somewhat quirky independent drama about a guy whose job it was to debunk myths by going out into the woods or something.  I’m not saying that there’s anything wrong with that; it’s just not my kind of movie.  But Sam Elliott, Bigfoot Hunter?  Yeah. Yeah, I think that I could manage to watch that.

God knows how I’m gonna see it, though. Although I suppose that it’s going to head to Netflix soon enough.  A lot of these kinds of films do.

PS: No, it’s real.
