Disney giving Loki and Scarlet Witch their own miniseries.

Interesting, no?  “Marvel Studios will give a solo spotlight to both Tom Hiddleston’s Loki and Elizabeth Olsen’s Scarlet Witch, with each getting a TV miniseries to be offered exclusively through the Disney streaming service that is expected to launch in late 2019.”

:steady look:

…Now, let’s not pretend.  We all know that Infinity War, while being fun, engrossing, and action-packed, was not going to end up being, ah, definitive.  Loki is a fan favorite and Scarlet Witch’s character can be profitably developed for television.  To quote the man, this was always the plan.

PS: Of course I’m getting the damned streaming service.  They’re gonna have Disney, Marvel, Star Wars, and Phineas and Ferb.  I’m over a barrel here, friends.

  1. Considering that the CW has been able to sell Earth-1, Earth-2 and Earth-X because of its Supergirl acquisition, I’d say half-decent Marvel TV writers could put something together for the Multiverse. Just as long as it’s not the people behind the Inhumans TV fiasco!
