The ‘Welllll…” second Titans trailer.

OK. Titans seems less awful than I first thought.

They’re in Detroit!  …Well, at least they’ll be able to get the land cheap for the new tower.  Also: where is Cyborg?  And nobody say “Doing bigger and better things on the big screen,” because Cyborg’s place in the DCEU is, at best, nebulous.

Anyway, as a four-man group Titans isn’t too bad, but it doesn’t matter anyway: apparently, this is all going on DC’s streaming service. …I don’t think that I’ll be getting that, in addition to Disney’s.  Not unless they can figure out how to get Disney-level styles of content, of course.

  1. Well, they’re taking out the Teen out of the name and make most of the characters older, especially Nightwing. Casting Black actress for an Alien Princess is just fine with me. The only character who remain more or less the same age is Raven and Beast Boy, with Raven being even younger than her comic/cartoon version.

    ?

The note at the end says that it’ll only be on Netflix.

      1. Yeah, from the first link:

Titans will air internationally on Netflix starting Oct. 12. If you’re in the US, you’ll have to watch it on DC Universe, the new streaming service from DC. Yeah, I know, that sucks.

  3. Based on the photo before the video, I was wondering if it was fanfic with a bunch of cos-players. Even after watching the trailer, not sure. Beast boy and Nightwing look right. Is Raven supposed to have some sort of amnesia? What in the world is going on with Star Fires fur coat and attitude?

    1. If I had to guess, the fur coat is so she’s not running around in her usual, often stripperific, costume. That sort of thing tends to draw a backlash these days (though fur does, too).

One other item – is that Hawk at 1:52?
