OK, Into The Spider-Verse trailer: wow me.

Let’s see what you’ve got.

[UPDATE] …OK. Spider-Ham.  That will trigger at least a small ‘wow’ from me. It at least significantly suggests that Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse respects the comic books.  Or that somebody from the MCU inserted a sleeper agent in the Before Times.  Either way, this might not suck!

  1. “Do animals talk in this dimension? ’cause I don’t want to freak him out.”

    Okay, you have my attention.

  2. …okay, there’s something wrong with the animation. I don’t mean how the Spideys are in different styles. I mean there’s a bit of jerkiness to it, like someone clipped a number of frames out of the animation, which makes even less sense since it’s CGI.

I sure hope it’s just a bad upload of the trailer, cause that’s going to drive me nuts in a theater

    1. No, it’s not you, and it’s not just this trailer–the original one did it, too. Drove me up the wall.

  3. Could be good. Could be bad. We’ll see.

Though the idea that Peter Parker wouldn’t *immediately* recognize Gwen Stacey, and that she’d need to introduce herself to him is a bit unrealistic…

  4. Looks like it could be a fun movie. But I’m not a Marvel zombie, so I don’t have any sensibilities along those lines that could be offended.
