CD Projekt Red gets NAMCO BANDI to publish Cyberpunk 2077 in Europe (2019 release?)

I dunno: maybe? “CD Projekt Red recently made a deal with Bandai Namco to publish its upcoming game, Cyberpunk 2077 in 24 European countries. Previously, The Witcher developer partnered with Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment to distribute Cyberpunk 2077 in North America.”  CDPR used Namco back in 2014 to publish Witcher: Wild Hunt, and that game came out in 2015 (and just over a year later).  I’m going to go out on a limb here — not really, of course — and say that I think that Cyberpunk 2077 is going to have a Christmas 2019 release date.  We’ve seen game footage that looked reasonably finished; it’s clearly well along in the development queue, or whatever the phrase is.  I don’t believer that we’re going to be forced to wait for 2020.

Mind you: I am not an expert. I am probably not even a journeyman.

  1. Since you are always looking for Halloween themed scenarios, might I suggest some of the “Traveller” ones. Ghosts in jump space become more powerful, piracy during jump leads to Phantom events, etc. Or worst of all the wizard on a primitive planet scenario. When the doped up patsies start coming out of the walls as zombies you’re gonna want that minigun quite badly that they stopped you with at the Starport.”Traveller probably holds the prize for Hallowween scenarios.
