Marvel reportedly to drop Captain Marvel, Avengers 4 trailers this week.

The Time of the Universal Losing of the Excrement is upon us, in other words:

According to entertainment YouTuber John Campea, Marvel Studios will debut the new trailer for Captain Marvel at halftime during tomorrow’s Monday Night Football matchup between the Philadelphia Eagles and the Washington football team.

Marvel fans and bloggers Daniel RPK and Manabyte have also been dropping teases all week, confirming the Captain Marvel news in the wake of Campea’s tweet. They also purported that the Avengers 4 trailer will be coming on Wednesday, December 5th, possibly during the episode of Good Morning America.

Probably no leaks before then. Forget the nuclear football; Disney reveals nothing before it’s ready to release it.  If these folks are dropping accurate hints, it’s because they were fed them.

And I’m not joking, either: everybody’s gonna lose their sh*t over these two trailers.  We’re going to see frame-by-frame analysis of the Avengers 4 trailer, for sure and for certain.  We’re also going to see — hold on, this is gonna be funny — somebody complain that Captain Marvel showing up in Avengers 4 spoils Captain Marvel, just like having Black Panther showing up in Infinity War spoiled Black Panther.  News flash: Captain Marvel’s surviving the movie named for her.  That is typically a thing.

  1. I’m fairly certain The Mouse has quality control measures in place against leaks. The fact that they gave fake Infinity War scripts to Tom Holland so that he could leak that is partial proof.
This is going to be a very fine week. Elseworlds dropping soon for the CW which may be very good.

It’s amusing when people joke things like how A New Hope spoiled the ending for Rogue One. But when people aren’t joking, it’s tedious.
