Well, this is awkward: all of the books I read this week…

…were either ARCs or Kickstarter rewards.  I’ve been trying to think of a more exploitable suitable book for the last few days, and I’ve absolutely drawn a blank.  I dunno.  Recommendations?

  1. Tales from Gavagans Bar, by L Sprague DeCamp. Short stories from the golden age, precursor to Callahans, successor to Jorkens, still readable and entertaining today.

  2. Have you done “Mote in God’s Eye” or “On the Gripping Hand” recently? Did you like them enough to recommend?

      1. I read Mote for the first time about a week ago. I had heard it was good and heard a synopsis of the story, but my word was I not ready for how good it was.
