It’d also be a shoo-in for the Hugo for Short Story, or the Bram Stoker for Short Fiction. I weep that the author never tried to sell ‘Sort By Controversial‘ for cash money. It’s absolutely worth it.

It would inflate my ego if I found that the author had watched “Person of Interest”, because this would make an excellent followup TV/streaming series to that. The Evil Machine from that show would simply adore using the Scissor.
