The ‘What the [expletive deleted] IS this?’ Hobbs & Shaw trailer.

What the [expletive deleted] is this?

What the [expletive deleted]-ity [expletive deleted] is this?

Is this what goes on in the Fast & Furious movies? I’m not gonna lie; I got limited time to look at stuff, and there wasn’t enough in the way of flat-out science fiction to make me sit down with any of those flicks. Was I apparently wrong? I can live with being apparently wrong, honestly.

But… yeah. That’s like the movie trailer that they show in-universe when a movie wants to make fun of action movies. I’ll still watch it, though.

  1. Huh. Looks interesting- which is what a trailer is supposed to do.
    .
On the other hand, I remember Tango and Cash.

  2. They’re pure popcorn flicks. There’s a reason they keep making them – people keep going. They’re intentionally stupid, corny, defy-every-law-of-physics slam bang action fests. Car races, Hong Kong-style fights, car crashes, scantily clad honeys, car explosions, and intentionally bad plots. Utterly shameless targeting of your inner ten year old.

  3. What the [expletive deleted] is this? [Expletive-deleted]in’ awesome, that’s what this is.

  4. I believe they had a submarine ram a car in a prior F&F movie. That should indicate their faithfulness to reality. But this is more science fiction-y than the past films.
