I am cautiously optimistic about Alita: Battle Angel . So far, critics are going ‘ehh’ and the viewers are going ‘wow!’ These days, that’s usually a good sign when you’re talking about a popcorn film. I’ll let you folks know how the movie went.
Also, I get to get out of the house! Yay me. It’s been a week.
I have only seen the trailers, but it seemed a bit creepy in the ‘Uncanny Valley’ kind of way.
I stopped noticing after a little bit.

Straight-up nightmare fuel, more like.
I dunno. I didn’t notice any uncanny valley in the trailers, but I certainly did in-theater. But it actually wasn’t very bad, just seemed off a bit. Didn’t detract from the movie, for me. YMMV of course.
