Not 2019 because it’s far too late to get a hotel room, I have other stuff going on usually on DragonCon dates, and… 2020 because there is a Plan. It is in the early stages yet, and there have to be things done first, in a particular order. The whole thing will be a bit of a decision tree, in its way.
But there is a Plan.
Coincidentally, 2019 will be the first year in over a decade where I’m not getting a DragonCon hotel room. Our friends didn’t go last year and it’s just too much money to justify going by ourselves. We may still get a day pass, though.
My wife’s cousin hangs with some people who go every year and who buy up rooms a year in advance. She also says that they won’t care that I’m, you know, that way, so we may end up both going.
