It took me far too long to realize this Witcher TV article was satire.

Far, far too long:

Netflix’s Witcher Series Delayed as Method Acting Henry Cavill Won’t Stop Accepting Side-Gigs “

Netflix announced production of The Witcher has paused due to Henry Cavill, set to portray Geralt of Rivia, accepting repeated side-gigs as part of his method acting process.  “

My wife didn’t think that the joke was as gut-busting funny as I did, but then my wife didn’t play Witcher 3 for… well, forever. Or Fallout 4. Or, most especially and particularly, Skyrim. Which obviously doesn’t reflect badly upon her, to be sure. I think that it’s been established by now that I’m kind of a weirdo.

PS: Yeah, I guess I should stop trying to build the perfect Vault-themed hotel in Nuka World and get back to finding, you know, my actual kid and everything.

That’s why I never played Gwent. I thought it was stupid that Geralt would play cards when his daughter was missing.
