Turns out I’m seeing Avengers: Endgame tomorrow after all.

They added some more showings to the theater that I go to — Regal Cinemas is my default theater these days; good seating, a decent rewards system, the amenities at my local theater are excellent, and they have actual matinees — so I’m hitting it tomorrow morning. Which is good, because people are already starting to go purple-faced with the strain of not telling me any freaking spoilers.

Although some of them are also taking the no-spoilers thing way too seriously, too. I mean, gimme a break. You should be able to say whether or not you liked a flick.

  1. I think you’ll like it — I certainly did, and I look forward to the discussion of it. Kevin Feige earned his salt, for sure.

  2. I enjoyed it, but there were a few “Wait a second, that wouldn’t work…” moments in it, a few missed cameo opportunities, and a couple of Poochie moments as well. Not perfect, but still worth a watch.

Alas, they failed to listen to the internet on one thing though.

  3. I’m taking my friend’s advice and staying off Facebook until I see it tonight. “Whatever it takes” to avoid spoilers.

  4. Just to let you all know –

According to the Babylon Bee, Pope Francis has announced that anyone who spoils parts of Avengers Endgame will end up spending more time in Purgatory.
