Lifehack: don’t shout Avengers: Endgame spoilers outside of a Hong Kong theater.

They don’t take kindly to that in Hong Kong, you see.

A man who obviously didn’t get the memo on Avengers: Endgame – or chose to ignore it – was beaten outside a Hong Kong cinema for shouting out spoilers to fans waiting in line to see the film.

Taiwanese media said the man, who was not identified, was left bloodied outside a cinema in Causeway Bay, Hong Kong, after watching the movie.

Via Deadline.

This should not be taken as an endorsement of violence towards people who spoil movies, you understand. Violence absolutely should be reserved to be a counter to the violent. Put another way; this man was a jackass who still didn’t need to be punched and beaten, just for being a jackass.

Not that I was there, of course. Which means that I didn’t see anything. …I suspect that the cops investigating this incident heard that statement a lot.

  1. Everybody was Kung Fu fighting,
those cats were fast as lightning
In fact it was a little bit frightening,
but they fought with expert timing.
