Honest Trailers went incredibly easy on Shazam!, here.
I mean, I was expecting some commentary about the pacing, which was legitimately a minor issue in parts. I loved this movie, but it’s not perfect. But apparently Honest Trailers feels the same way, and they’re kind of doing their best to not rock the boat. As things are going now, they’ll do a Black Adam movie, and that’ll be good, and they’ll also do a second Shazam! film, and that’ll hopefully be good, and then if everything works out they’ll do a Shazam! vs. Black Adam flick and then, really, everything’s jake at that point. I’ll be satisfied.
