Not gonna lie: I’m going to wait before ordering it. This review of R Talsorian’s Cyberpunk Red Jumpstart Kit gives off a certain whiff of ‘core rules pared down to the bone.’ I suspect that the TTRPG will be fleshed out at a later point, and while I’m looking forward to buying both I see no reason why I should buy it twice.
Your mileage, of course, may vary.
That sounds about right, based on what I’ve heard. If a product includes pre-made characters but not an actual character creator, then it’s a pretty big hint that there’s just enough to get your game up and running, but nothing to flesh it out.
Having said that, $15.00 isn’t bad. But I’m a bit strapped for cash at the moment…
