I hope everybody had a good Thanksgiving. Ours was nice, except for the colds that ripped through everywhere. Ach, well, we’ve been lucky up to this point.

We had a great Thanksgiving, thank you. Glad yours was nice.
I’d like to share this recipe with you. Best Green bean casserole I’ve ever had.
6 cups of green beans
6-8 slices of crisp bacon
Two cans of low sodium condensed cream of mushroom soup
10 oz fresh mushrooms, sliced
Half an envelope of onion soup mix
1/4 to a half a teaspoon of crushed oregano
French fried onion rings
Bring a large pot of water to boil cook the beans 2 to 3 minutes. Drain. Save two slices of bacon for garnish; crumble or Romain slices. In a large bowl mix the beans with the crumbled bacon, soup, mushrooms, soup mix and oregano. Refrigerate overnight.
Preheat oven to 350. Bake in 3 qt casserole for 30 – 40 minutes. Garnish with bacon and or onion rings.
Obviously that should be ‘crumble remaining slices’.
