There really is no chance that I will skip ONWARD. Often circumstances intervene, but only because I let them, and I don’t see myself letting circumstances intervene this time. Besides: like KUNG FU HUSTLE, when a movie studio takes the trouble and the time to go inside my head and start recording what’s it like in there I feel kind of obligated to go see the final cut, you know what I mean?

I suspect it’ll be a lot of fun, on the second or third viewing, to count all the tropes and how they mix … “hero riding a Pegasus” and “stoner with a mystical creature painted on their van” for example ..
