RUMBLE is a surprisingly intriguing concept that seems wedded to an animation style that is not Disney/Pixar, which automatically makes it a problem.
I won’t lie to you: a movie about professional monster wrestling gets my attention, and in a favorable way. I just don’t know if they’re going to get it done properly. Based on that trailer I already know the plot and a couple of the twists, and it’s not because the trailer’s spoiler-heavy; it’s that the ‘beats’ or whatever are pretty predictable at this point.
Ach, well, it’s meant for kids anyway.
