03/11/2020 Book Report, FROZEN DREAMS.

Mostly I worked on what will be the stretch goals (more stories, to start with) if we manage to fund. But I got a bunch of people subscribed to it already, which means that at least I won’t goose egg the first day? That’d be nice, fer sure.

You’re probably gonna get sick of the word ‘Kickstarter’ over the next month or so, by the way. I gotta advertise this puppy, but I don’t got a budget for that — so I’m resorting to TALKING VERY LOUDLY ABOUT IT. I apologize in advance for any inconvenience.

  1. Don’t be shy about asking your friends and acquaintances with a large social media presence to hook you up – especially if they’re also writers. It also helps to tell people what you’d like them to say. Directed to the folks who are on my facebook wall, I posted the following on along with a link to the kickstarter.

“Hey, a friend of mine wrote a book – I got an advance copy and it’s good! It’s an old-fashioned hardboiled detective novel set in a world where magic has returned (trust me it works). He’s got to raise some money to complete the publishing process so please consider hitting his kickstarter when it launches in three weeks. Thanks!”
