Although I don’t know about ‘first Russian superhero flick;’ I seem to remember some sort of revanchist neo-Commie Russian-superteam that was making the rounds a while ago. This looks like it’d be a lot more accessible, assuming it also isn’t agitprop of some kind. I do hope how the explain the gear, though. It’s just a little too good-looking to be do-it-yourself.
