The ‘My kids approve’ PHINEAS AND FERB THE MOVIE: CANDACE AGAINST THE UNIVERSE trailer.

No, really. They were drawn to my screen within ten seconds of the trailer going on. We are all so watching PHINEAS AND FERB THE MOVIE: CANDACE AGAINST THE UNIVERSE when it streams on August 28th.

PS: I kind of wish there was going to be a new season, but not really. Phineas and Ferb did well and ended well; why mess that up? Sometimes you gotta let the kids grow up.

  1. I’m not loving the changes in animation.
    .
I get that zeks are certain to demand 4K resolution and dynamic lighting.
I get that high res is not kind to simplistic art styles or 2-D sprites.
I get that the software they used has been updated numerous times, and the old look might not even be achievable.
I get that everyone feels the urge to go back and tinker with things they weren’t quite happy with.
I get that it was inevitable, and we’re lucky it wasn’t worse.
But I don’t have to like it.
