The installation was a pain in the ass, because I had tried to pre-install CYBERPUNK 2077 and it hung up. I just gave up, uninstalled, and then reinstalled, and then it worked fine. The game itself runs really smoothly and REALLY prettily on the PC; I have no complaints.
I did run through the beginning of the game, and I realized fairly quickly; if you’re running the Corpo track, you more or less default to being a total [expletive deleted] to everybody around you. I, like, maybe killed two people without even trying – but nobody said anything to me about it, and I don’t think it was because the game itself didn’t care. My usual gameplay strategy of being Queen of the Girl Scouts is gonna be REAL hard to achieve in this title.

I feel your pain. SWTOR screwed the pooch on their latest major point release install, and I left my installer running overnight so I could play it tonight. Hopefully.
The install workaround I tried was to replace two missing quotation mark characters in settings file. It felt a lot like my work day.

Saw elsewhere someone commenting on the fact that the ONE MOMENT during the lengthy amount of time that he spent designing his character that his wife looked over his shoulder to take a look… just happened to be when he started messing with the breast customization.

Yeah, no kids allowed. This is a game that allows you to customize the length of your genitals during character creation, and has giant billboards for female sex bots that are shown with white fluid dripping out of their crotches. That’s in addition to the usual gore that is included in many violent first person games these days.
I’ve had only minor issues running the game. But apparently quite a few people are having serious problems. So far as I can tell, there doesn’t seem to be any discernable rhyme or reason for who gets afflicted with the bugs, and who is able to play with no issues.
