GODZILLA VS. KONG release moved up.

How nice for me. And possibly for the rest of you, but mostly for me. It is my demographic which is the one being pandered to, and I doubt that I will ever be this specifically pandered to again, so I’m gonna enjoy this last hurrah of the Time Before:

Warner Bros. has finalized a deal with Legendary Pictures to release Godzilla Vs. Kong in theaters on HBO Max simultaneously. The studio has now announced that the film will be released two-months earlier than expected.

The film was originally supposed to be released on May 21st, 2021. It’s now set to be released on March 26th.

Just before my birthday! How thoughtful of them.

PS: I have nothing against Kong, but Godzilla has been a valued ally of both the US Navy and Air Force in multiple combat operations. If it comes down to taking a side, well, I won’t apologize for trying to maintain a crucial strategic relationship.

  1. The score for Godzilla: King of the Monsters was very good.

As a movie, I got exactly what I came for. I am hoping this will live up to the same measure.
