PS: Nah, I’m not watching the game. Nothing really to watch it on, there’s nobody over, and I don’t follow either team playing. But I do miss the idea of Super Bowl parties.

  1. I don’t remember the link for it (and don’t feel like digging it up), but somewhere out there is a lengthy piece that uses incidents from ‘Downtown Abbey’ to explain how football works.

    Probably too much.
    Then the league decided that they didn’t want me as a fan.

  4. You didn’t miss anything. The game itself was not interesting, it was pretty well over one quarter in. And it’s been years since the commercials have been even vaguely interesting.
