The ’13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi’ trailer.

It looks… a bit more serious than the stuff that Michael Bay usually does.

Then again, it’s a serious subject. January 2016, huh? …That’s going to get some people exercised, particularly since even the trailer is making it clear that it’s a movie about Heroic American Mavericks Who Had To Fight Both The Enemy And The Cowards At The State Department.  Which is to say, it’s going to make insane amounts of money domestically. And make a lot of people that I don’t particularly like more-or-less quietly furious.

PS: I don’t… think that Hillary Clinton is stupid enough to seriously try to get the movie suppressed.  But she must be tempted. Ach, well, she should have made better life choices.

  1. You’ll forgive me if I hope the people you don’t like, most of whom I don’t like either, get downright noisy in their furiosity…

Their visible anger makes better theater when their house of cards and flaming dog [redacted] comes crashing down…..

    1. I don’t think most of them are *capable* of being quietly furious.

Furious, yes. Most of the time. Quiet about it? I have my doubts.

      1. They do love their sturm-und-drang .. and yet, don’t take the lesson ..

        Must increase schadenfreude practice.

  2. I hope HRC tries to suppress it and fails, her being visibly upset by the film would improve the viewer experience immensely.

  3. Remember, this is a spontaneous political demonstration spurred by that dastardly video. That’s the official line and HRC will stick by it.
