There is, indeed, money in Planned Parenthood’s baby-harvesting.

So, you might have wondered about one part in the second Planned Parenthood baby-harvesting video.

Specifically, the part where the investigators posing as buyers encouraged the Planned Parenthood representative to quote them a higher price for particular human body parts.  Seemed a little weird, yes? I mean, why would a buyer want a seller to sell high? Continue reading There is, indeed, money in Planned Parenthood’s baby-harvesting.

Terry McAuliffe tacitly admits that he is not interested in further elected office.

Because he ain’t gonna be elected Senator with this attitude:

Gov. Terry McAuliffe is rejecting calls from Virginia House Republican leaders for an investigation into how Planned Parenthood clinics handle fetal organs.

Republicans called for an investigation Thursday following an anti-abortion group’s release of a video showing a Planned Parenthood official discussing the disposal of body parts from aborted fetuses. The group said the video proves the organization is breaking federal law against selling human fetal tissue.

Oregon mother can’t afford #obamacare for her baby.

Of course not.

One Oregon mother says that she is unable to afford health insurance for her and her 18-month-old son because it’s too expensive.

[snip]

[Kate] Holly’s husband works for a non-profit organization that pays for his health care, but the couple is unable to afford to have her and their son covered under his plan. And she’s been told their combined income is too much to qualify for a subsidized health care plan under Cover Oregon.

Obama’s drilling bribe is insultingly small.

[UPDATE] Welcome, Instapundit readers.

(H/T: Hot Air Headlines) Does he really think that this is sufficient to peel off cap-and-tax opposition? Let’s do some strategic bolding:

The Obama administration’s plan adopts some drilling proposals floated by President George W. Bush near the end of his tenure, including opening much of the Atlantic and Arctic Coasts. Those proposals were challenged in court on environmental grounds and set aside by President Obama shortly after he took office.

[snip]

The first lease sale off the coast of Virginia could occur as early as next year in a triangular tract 50 miles off the coast that had already been approved for development but was held up by a court challenge and additional Interior Department review, officials said.

But as a result of the Obama decision, the Interior Department will spend several years conducting geologic and environmental studies along the rest of the southern and central Atlantic Seaboard. If a tract is deemed suitable for development, it is listed for sale in a competitive bidding system. The next lease sales — if any are authorized by the Interior Department — would not be held before 2012.

Let me put it another way: the White House is implying the promise of jam tomorrow – in reality, it’s just a study to revisit the denial of jam yesterday – in exchange for jam today. Only the jam today is actually a swarm of angry wasps.  Try again, Mr. President.  Start with rescinding your interference with the Bush drilling permits, and expect to give up more.  A lot more: your opponents are not interested in indulging the Greenies’ quaint, somewhat primitive religious sensibilities.

So… Thanksgiving, then.

No change in the baby’s status and my wife has decided to defrost the blackberries for her signature blackberry pie. Therefore, the child will make his appearance on Thursday.

Well, begin as you mean to go on, I suppose. Both sides of his family have a long, treasured, and proud history of being unmitigated pains in the ass.

PS: Does anybody actually care about this? Obviously, it’s important to me and taking up a lot of my time, but that’s not the same thing as being interesting.
