Confirmed by Variety. My wife is currently chewing through CLONE WARS, but even I know that this is a big deal for Star Wars fans*. It’s going to be interesting to see a no-fooling Jedi show up in THE MANDALORIAN next season.

*I am not a Star Wars fan. It’s not that I don’t like the correct percentage of the movies; I do, and I’ve seen some of them a bunch of times. It’s just that I don’t have a sufficient grasp of The Knowledge to qualify; which is something I abruptly discovered the first time I played in a Star Wars TTRPG. It was educational! And very, very humbling.

Nobody reading this will probably be all that surprised, of course. Disney was about as likely to not renew THE MANDALORIAN as they would be to suddenly declare everything in their catalog before 2000 AD to be public domain. But, you know, it’s nice to have a date. Certainly the people in charge of making sure that there are BABY YODAS FOR CHRISTMAS THIS TIME, BOB* will be thrilled for the heads-up.
