Like fellow Saturday Night Live alum Jay Mohr, [David] Spade has a supremely limited range, but within those narrow restrictions, he can be unbelievably awesome.
This is… fair. I liked him in PCU, thought he was well-cast in Coneheads, and of course David Spade is a major reason why The Emperor’s New Groove is almost everybody’s second-favorite Disney flick*. It may not be what the man was looking for out of his career, but they’re going to be showing TENG for the rest of my life, so that’s nothing to sneeze at.
