So, Death & Taxes is up for an Ennie!

You may remember me mentioning it earlier in the year. My gaming group was going to run it, but then we had a sudden attack of never-you-mind and when the dust cleared I didn’t think that I had enough players to run it properly.  But Death & Taxes is very pretty, and I’m pretty pleased that it’s up for a major gaming award.

Voting on the Ennies in general has just started, and you can do it here. It was a good year for the Ennies, which means that it’s a bad year for the Ennies; there are a couple of games there where it’s a pure shame that they both can’t win.  Voting was surprisingly tough in some cases, in other words.

In the Mail: Death & Taxes.

death and taxesThis was a gift from a reader: he has a company (Lesser Gnome) that does roleplaying games, and he thought that I might like to play with his new game supplement Death & Taxes. As it turns out, he was correct; heck, my gaming group is even doing a campaign that’s compatible with this one, and I think that my DM would be happy to run a game from it for us. I’d have asked her already, but the snow. Ach, the snow…

Anyway. It’s always nice to have awesome readers. And check out Lesser Gnome, if you care to.

PS: Look! I have a cat! …And that’s pretty much the cat’s default state. He was a stray, and now he’s inside, and he has no intention of being a stray ever, ever again.

PPS: Yes, we’ve had the cat for a while. But the cat has only recently decided to doze on the ottoman on a regular basis.
